World Book Day – February 2020
26th February 2020
It’s that time of year again! We asked the children if they wanted to dress up or not this year and it was a resounding ‘YES!’…queue teachers all now rummaging through cupboards for what on earth to wear. However, we haven’t set a theme so as long as the costume is something to do with a book then that’s fine with us. We know that costumes are expensive so let’s all get creative with what we have at home instead! (Now where’s that old pair of curtains got to…?)
We’re hosting a ‘Sharing Stories’ breakfast for families to join their children for breakfast on 5th March and get reading together in the hall. We look forward to seeing you all there.
And that’s not all: we also have local author Fran Grant with us so it’s going to be a pretty busy day.
Check book bags tonight for all the information you need.
New School Menu after half term – February 2020

We’ve got a new School Menu when we get back from half term. The regular favourites are on there as well as our popular weekly roast (the teachers are pretty partial to this one too!) and we’ve got some new treats like samosas and falafels to get stuck into. We’re looking forward to trying it out!
See our School Meals page for more details.

We’re very proud to be able to say that our 2018/2019 Year 2 class beat the national average* in their SATs at the end of last year.
